to pursue my interest of working with them. 

 

After starting my grooming career, it was striking to me how dog-focused the grooming world was. And how little supply of qualified, educated cat groomers there are. Most groomers do not groom cats due to the elevated risks involved, yet grooming is essential for a cat's well-being. That’s how I came to find National Cat Groomers Institute, the world’s leading program on feline grooming.

 

As a proud cat mama myself, I firmly believe cats deserve the standard of grooming care their canine friends are taking for granted. There are many problems we cat owners can face: sharp nails and furniture being destroyed, constantly puking up hairballs, excessive shedding, litter tracking everywhere, a smelly behind, chin acne or blackheads, stud tails, dandruff, matting… you get the idea. It’s time you rest in knowing there are real solutions out there.
